I Believe in Life before death

I Believe in life before death. In other words least you cry "heretic" , if you don't like the way the world is, do something right now to change it. Be Kinder, more human, more loving, plant that seed , feed that needy person, love your neighbor ( Even if you don't share his religion ). Do something to bring a little heaven to earth around you right now.

Charting Normalcy

I'm always fascinated by the concept of 'Normal' one hears such things as 'that's not normal.' But what does any of that really mean.  most of us are a little weird really.  Its always nice to find other people who are at least as weird as we are.

Life as always, it depends on how you look at it.

Woman are people NOT Possession

I have been thinking about this a lot recently, possibly main due to news and what, not. Not to mention some thought on Woman's role in Architecture, design and the home. But that is to highfalutin for this forum.

Life

I Believe this is Rather cynical. However, for the most part this is all most of us do now anyway.
Admit it. Accept It. Or Do something to change that.

Planning Permission.

Oh and done get me started on planning permission.  If city council has any idea why people are building as they please without permission. This is it :
1. It costs too much proportionally for a small renovation to get the permission.
2. Why on earth does one need an Engineers signature for a RENOVATION to a SINGLE story dwelling ? ( if im only spending 30 000 , why must I then spend another 15 000 Getting an engineers to sign off and a registered person to draw it up? )
3. There are too many pointless steps in the most basic of renovations ? Must I really fill out a 12 PAGE SABS form for a new Patio? With NO WINDOWS ?
4. If you are going to spend all your time at TRAINING, ON HOLIDAY , SICK, LAME AND LAZY. You cant then waste MY Time by holding a strike for MORE pay. More WORK more PAY.
5.. Fire the people who are incompetent and hire people who want to do the job - We do have a VERY HIGH unemployment rate.

Ps. This Rant brought to you by Architect tired of trying to work within the flawed and mostly pointless system.

Revenge

I Done know about you, but you know those sub contractors who drill a million holes in those cupboards and do a bad job of repairing their errors, with those annoying STICKERS !!!! I Will have my REVENGE on you unsuspecting phone!
