    Love

I've been wanting to do some Valentines  Sketches like I did last year. Which got me to thinking about what It is that makes us feel loved. Like for me, if iv'e had a bad day and you take me out for a soft serve cone. That is the best thing in the world. ( Cheep date right ? ) I was watching some show and the lead characters mom brought her a peanut butter and fluff sandwich which was like heaven to her. I guess most of us have fairly simple ways we know that people love us.

The state you feel when after bouncing into the office after that Glorious Builders holiday, you reach about 10am.

    Root to work

Let me just say I'm in love with Maps, I've even considered study cartography - or whatever the drawing of maps is called. But I love even more maps of events it a smallish obsession. I should probably see a shrink about this really.  That said, I once showed my Shrink of the time my sketch book of well the mutterings.... I suspect in a file somewhere there is a note saying, " Deals with emotional stress though drawings"....
Any way, this is the root from my house to work. Which is literally 5 minuets from my House but somehow always takes a lot longer.

    Infinite Abyss

I've always love the guardian of an infinite abyss concept it always sounded so cool. This year I've realized  this is pretty much all I do. I design something and then I send endless emails about, progress, site meetings, memo's on information vital to details, bills, product information....etc basically into the Ether, because lets be honest no one ever reads them. And then when something is done wrong, and I say i told you and I send a back up email to confirm in writing all I get is these really blank Stares.

    International Volume Relations

Which Brings me too Americans, We love you but.... you are so LOUD. I mean South Africans are pretty loud sure don't get me wrong. However whilst sitting in a nice quite airport in Istanbul the ONLY conversation I could over hear, was by an American.

A day in the English Country side

I'm sorry to all my English Readers, I really do love your country the people are ridiculously friendly, the Beer is amazing, and no one quite understands potatoes like you do. However coming from a city where if it starts raining pretty much grab the pair of slops and wait 20 minuets, ( Johannesburg Look it up and come visit ) the weather  pretty much baffles me.

    Foreign travel

We recently took a wonderful 3 day cycle tour around the Peak and Derby-shire dales, along the Tissington and High peak trails, ( Its in Derbyshire in the uk )Which is amazing and I highly recommend it however. It was November the 20th. However one aught to note that when the sheep are curled up into a small ball against the elements one aught to stay in doors. I recently read that "Sky is the Norse word for cloud, which came to mean the stuff above us because in England there is no difference." Although in the defence of the English country side, the sun did actually shine quite a lot.

    Where they go

I've recently been on a short trip to the UK. This is probably not very original.... but one does wonder, where all those tourists go to exactly.

    Falling Rocks

Um Yes..... Well possibly be on the New York times highly offensive and just no list.... but.... I like it. Once again consult your resident south African if your confused.
